Marcus Herbert is a lifelong resident of Rock Island County with more than 17 years of experience with the Rock Island County Sheriff's Office. He has worked on the front lines of our community's safety, serving as a Correctional Officer, Patrol Deputy, and a member of the Quad City Bomb Squad.
"The last few years have brought many challenges to the Sheriff's Office that need to be addressed with strong vision and leadership. My goal is to engage with the community and help build up the Rock Island County Sheriff's Office to make our community safer."
It is OK to be tough on crime, but we must also show compassion. The Rock Island County Sheriff's Office does this by helping people with what they need to be successful in the community.
